Born to Love is a strong advocate of the personal, social and environmental benefits of natural parenting. The products we promote reflect the real life needs of today's environmentally-conscious parent. Parents like yourself, who are striving to choose just the right product for your own children.

Choosing a diaper for your baby truly is a personal choice. Buying a cloth diapering system online can be a bit like buying a dress for someone you never met! Babies come in all shapes and sizes, and what fits one baby perfectly will fit terribly on another baby. What one mom raves about, another mom hates.

Simultaneous cloth diaper change record broken April 21, 2012!

Simultaneous cloth diaper change record broken April 21, 2012!
Nearly 10,000 babies on 4 continents lent their bottoms for a world record-breaking event to raise awareness about reusable cloth diapers on April 21st.

Hundreds of hosts in 15 countries held events centered around cloth diapers on that Saturday.

8,251 babies were simultaneously changed into cloth diapers at 189 qualifying locations in 11 countries!

(This far exceeded their 2011 record of 5026 simultaneous cloth diaper changes!)

While another 1200+ babies were changed at 67 additional sites, various Guinness regulations prevented them from counting officially.

HOWEVER, the goal of event organizers around the world was to increase awareness about cloth diapers – - a goal certainly reached in each community holding an event, regardless of whether or not they qualified for the world record!

Have you reduced your risk?

From the Breast Milk vs. Formula Debate board - come join us!

No need for games and riddles, let's raise awareness by talking about something that will actually make a difference in the fight against breast cancer.

I reduced my risk of breast, uterine, and ovarian cancer by breastfeeding three sons for a combined total of 115 months! I'm raising awareness by posting this.

If I had a daughter it would have reduced my daughter's risk of breast cancer at the same time.

Great invention - or trouble?

Posted a review on Amazon:

The idea of the Flipple gadget is that if you are out and lose or forget your baby bottle you can turn any water bottle into a formula bottle.

Great idea - I could have used one of these when my ex-daughter-in-law dropped off my grandson with no bottle - and I had to go round the neighbourhood to ask to borrow a bottle!

But in the video, the designer suggests that you can stop even bringing baby bottles when you go out, just bring water bottles.

Is this a good idea? Seems like the idea of using disposable bottles to feed your baby will create a lot more garbage to deal with.

And as much as we don't like to think of it, won't this just make it easier for parents to feed their babies something other than formula? Sad to say, some parents do feed their babies soda, "juice" drinks, etc. instead of formula.

Sure, if they are going to do it anyhow, not having one of these gadgets won't stop them - they can just pour it into a baby bottle. But perhaps the idea that you can screw this onto any bottle, will give some parents the wrong idea?

Or maybe I worry too much?? LOL

Breastfeeding and Bathrooms Do Not Mix

Every time you flush your toilet, an aerosol spray of water droplets – laden with bits of feces and urine – explodes into the bathroom.

An environmental microbiologist who studied the phenomenon said that close-up photographs of these bacterial and viral heavy projectiles look like “Baghdad [did] at night during a U.S. air attack.” “[S]ignificant quantities of microbes float[] around the bathroom for at least two hours after each flush.”
